Instagram is free photosharing software

It is free photosharing software. The service enables users to take a photo, apply a digital filter to it, and then share it with other Instagram users they are connected to on the network as well as on a variety of networking services.
It was supported on  iphone, ipad, ipod etc and company also supported  for Android camera running. It for Android  was released on April 3,2012 and it was downloaded more than one million times in less than one day. That same week, Instagram raised $50 million; the process valued Instagram at $500 million. In coming months Instagram was rated more than one million times on Google play which was the fifth app ever to reach one million ratings on Google play. There are currently no plans to make the application available on the BlackBerry's current O.S. 7 devices, although it is probable that one will be available for the upcoming BlackBerry 10 devices. Photo-sharing app Instagram has attracted more than 100 million users by encouraging people to snap pictures with their smart phones, dress them up with filters and share them with friends. Instagram announced Monday it will be adapting user photos and data into Web-based profiles for people to enjoy from laptops or desktops. Each Web profile will feature a selection of recently shared photographs along with the user's profile photo and bio, offering a quick visual snapshot of someone's interests and aesthetic. Facebook's purchase of the photo-sharing app Instagram had the Internet asking one question. The news comes only weeks after Facebook spent $1 billion on a similar photo-sharing app called Instagram.
And only days after the company's initial public offering got a lukewarm reception from Wall Street and raised the eyebrows of financial regulators. The company says the app, which will be available late Thursday for Apple iOS devices, makes Facebook photos more fun and accessible. The acquisition shined a light on what's emerging as a nearly incontrovertible truth in tech circles: Mobile is the future of photography and the tools used to enhance and share phone-generated images have value that is only expected to climb.
